Omo’ba Hammed Aroyewun, Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA on 2025 International Day of the Girl Child

Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has celebrated the resilience of girls as children and their exceptional nature.

Aroyewun gave his commendation in a statement commemorating the International Day of the Girl Child today.

“On behalf of the good people of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, I join the global community in celebrating the resilient girls of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA on this year’s International Day of the Girl Child. Today, we honour your incredible spirit, your boundless potential, and your exceptional courage.

“This year’s theme, “The Girl I Am, The Change I Lead: Girls on the Frontlines of Crisis,” powerfully acknowledges a profound truth; you are not just passive victims in the face of challenges, but active, powerful agents of change.

“In times of difficulty, whether in our communities, schools, or families, we see girls stepping up with remarkable bravery, intelligence, and compassion to lead, to heal, and to innovate.”

The council boss lauded the Girl Child{ren} in Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA for their impacts and showing positive leadership traits.

“Here in Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, we see this leadership in action every day. We see it in the girl who advocates for her education, in the young innovator creating solutions for our community, and in the compassionate leader who supports her peers.
